It is his first season on the team and he is already dreaming big. José Carvallo, goalkeeper of the César Vallejo University (UCV), had no qualms in pointing out that the goal of the ‘poet’ team for this season is to be crowned champion of the League 1 I bet you.
“The goal at UCV is to be champion. “The tournament has just begun, we have dates to show our true football,” Carvallo said in a conversation with League 1 Max.
The experienced archer, champion with Universitario de Deportes in 2023, He also spoke about the arrival of Paolo Guerrero to the Trujillo painting.
“I know Paolo Guerrero, he is a great person, with a lot of hierarchy. “He scored a goal last game and it will help us a lot,” commented.
The Peruvian goalkeeper also said that for him it is important that a team like UCV has noticed him to compete in the Copa Sudamericana, in which he will debut this Thursday, at 7:30 pm, against Sport Huancayo.
“Grateful that a team that has the Copa Sudamericana notices me. Coming to train is very comfortable, it has the best conditions,” he referred.
José Carvallo will not be able to play against Sport Huancayo for the continental tournament, as he has a suspension due to the fight that the players from Universitario de Deportes and Gimnasia y Esgrima de La Plata had in last year’s edition.
