Disagreement between the French Basketball Federation (FFBB) and Metropolitans 92. This tournament is the penultimate chance for men’s EDF 3×3 to qualify for the Olympic Games in Paris this summer. “Between April 15 and May 7, Lahau Konate will be absent for 4 of the last 8 games of the season,” Metz regrets.
“No compensation” proposed by the FFBB
“Depriving our captain for these matches will distort the integrity of the fight to retain and qualify for the BETCLIC Elite playoffs,” the club regrets. This state of affairs is unacceptable in our eyes. This indicates a lack of respect on the part of the FFBB for the club, the shareholder, sports staff, partners, fans of the club, as well as the LNB. »

Even with their captain, the Boulogne-Levallois club, 18th and last in the Betclic Elite (15% wins) and having spent almost the entire season in the red zone, has virtually no chance of winning and avoiding relegation.
