Roberto Palacios visited the LDU concentration prior to the match against the ‘U’ for the Copa Libertadores

The president of the Ecuadorian club, Isaac Álvarez, gave a shirt to the former national team player who was very excited about the gift.

“Thank you so much. It is a detail that I did not expect, in fact it will be in a very special place in my house,” Palacios said.

“It is an honor to remember beautiful moments that we have spent in Ecuador with the League,” he added.

For his part, the manager of the current Copa Sudamericana champion said that he hopes it will be an incentive to go far in the current Copa Libertadores.

Palacios wore the LDU shirt in the 2005 and 2006 seasons. In the first season he was crowned champion, leaving pleasant memories and good goals in that country.

Universitario de Deportes and LDU will face each other this Tuesday, April 2 from 9:00 pm (Peruvian time), for the first date of group D of the competition.
