Code names CER1 and CER3. This refers to the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games. On Saturday morning, on the floor of the Wigmam studio in the Menagerie de Verres (11th Paris), the first group masters the steps of the two dances they will have to perform in front of the ceremony’s choreographers and their assistants. Joseph and Anne are here to set the pace. To the sounds of “Man” from “The Rag Man” the dancers sketch their first attempts.
This weekend, 250 people will try their luck. “I want to be part of this madness, I have always danced and participating in this project would be incredible,” smiles 36-year-old Emmanuelle. I’m more interested in performing at ceremonies than in the Games, but how proud I would be to take part in such moments! »
