Peru will host the Junior World Artistic Swimming Championship ‘Lima 2024’

Peru will host the important Junior World Championship of Artistic Swimmingwhich will be held between August 28 and September 1 of this year.

World Aquatics granted the Peruvian Swimming Sports Federation (FDPN) this responsibility, thanks to the experience acquired in organizing tournaments with similar characteristics.

In the World Cup, which will be the third aquatic sports event held by the FDPN, we will be able to see some 400 athletes from 35 countries on five continents in action.

At the event you will be able to witness splendid routines by the best exponents of the junior category, several of them who will participate in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, whose exercises involve various conditions, such as dance, art, flexibility, synchronization and grace and, especially, in the feminine branch, overflowing beauty.

At the presentation ceremony of the contest were Congressman César Revilla; the Executive Director of Legado, Carlos Zegarra; the president of the Peruvian Swimming Federation, Nikola Ustavdich and the General Director of the Organizing Committee, Pamela Davelouis.

”I feel very excited because it will be my first World Cup at home, and I am proud because my family and everyone who has supported me in my career will be able to see me. We are training very hard because we want to raise the name of Peru,” said the national preselect, Ana Paula Cabrera.
