2024 Olympic Games in Paris: with a norm of 300 beds per day and a spring mattress, the village wakes up every 5 minutes

Chandeliers, poufs and sofas appear from numerous apartment windows. Although Paris returned the keys to the sports village on March 1, 2024, the huge construction site of which was overseen by the Olympic works delivery company (Solideo), it is gradually coming back to life. There is greenery everywhere along the paths and the trees that have been planted are now adorned with beautiful foliage. Trucks and cranes from the construction era have left the premises, making way for carts sometimes laden with blankets and pillows.

During the Games, Paris 2024 is the tenant of this huge space of more than 52 hectares, which will officially open on July 18th. Therefore, it was necessary to carry out an inventory of each premises before starting construction. The Alley of the Seine runs through the center of what is now called the Bastille. For the Games, the name of each sector was changed: Abbesses, Bastille, Dauphine, Etoile, where the French will remain, and Fete on L’Isle-Saint-Denis.
