Sporting Cristal offered a press conference this Monday, June 17, to present his new coach, the Argentine Guillermo Farré.
The latter had his first contact with the national press and highlighted the importance of taking on this important challenge in his career, his first experience outside his country.
“We know what we are coming for. Cristal’s ambitious objective, not only because of its history, but also because of the need to position the club again in international tournaments and with sporting achievements, makes the conviction to come greater,” said the 43-year-old strategist.
“Winning the championship will allow us to continue strengthening the structure of the institution,” he added.
On the other hand, he highlighted that the club was just one goal away from winning the Apertura Tournament and he trusts that his technical command can give him that extra that the team needs.
Farré arrives to replace the Brazilian Enderson Moreira who led the celestial team in the first part of the year.
