Angelo Campos thanked the opportunity that Bustos gave him in Alianza Lima

Alianza Lima won Phase 2 and will play the final of League 1 with Sporting Cristal, current champion of the tournament. The achievement is made by a whole team, but there are always performances that are outstanding, one of them from goalkeeper Angelo Campos.

The remembered goalkeeper of the Peruvian Under 20 National Team of 2013, started the season as a substitute, but in the first opportunity he received in the goal, Angelo did not disappoint and is now the undisputed starter in Carlos Bustos’ team.

Alianza Lima is the team that has received the fewest goals, just seven, and on many occasions Campos was responsible for saving balls to goal. In an interview with ‘The voices of football’, the goalkeeper thanked the opportunity that Bustos gave him.

“I am very grateful to the teacher Bustos because he gave me the opportunity and the absolute confidence to be in the goal. The group is very committed and we knew that great things could be achieved. It is an award for all of us and the fans “.

“We want to continue growing and improving the numbers in phase 2. The final with Cristal will be a very tough match. We are going to continue working and we will go for everything ”, added the goalkeeper who has 19 games this season.

Alianza Lima will face Sporting Cristal on November 21 and 28 from 3 in the afternoon. The first meeting will be at the National Stadium. The champion will be defined by points and in the event of a tie, the one with the best goal difference will win.
