Neymar’s stay in the ranks of PSG has not only been full of success, but also injury. The Brazilian has gone through many physical problems wearing the shirt of the Parisian club and this Sunday he felt again, after bending the ankle of his left leg during the match against Saint-Étienne in Ligue 1.

The pain suffered by the skilled footballer was very great, to the point that he left the field on a stretcher, with gestures on his face that worried all those who observed the scene of his fall. However, the forward decided to bring a bit of tranquility and spoke through his social networks with a brief message.

“We are going to recover. Unfortunately these setbacks are part of the life of an athlete. Now that’s what you got, raise your head and let’s go. I will come back better and stronger “, were the words that ‘Ney’ wrote on his Instagram account.

Marco Verratti, Kylian Mbappé and other PSG players commented on the post, evidencing their desire to see Neymar on the pitch in a short time. In the same way, figures such as Douglas Costa, Memphis Depay, Richarlison and Arthur also spoke in the publication and gave their support to Neymar.

It is worth mentioning that the athlete left the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard with his leg immobilized and supported by crutches, but for now no details are known about the extent of the injury he suffered. In a few hours, PSG will clarify the panorama with the rigorous tests that the Brazilian attacker will pass.

So far this 2021-22 season, Neymar has played 10 games for PSG in Ligue 1, scoring three goals and assisting the same number of times. Meanwhile, he had four appearances in the group stage of the Champions League, although in that event he has not managed to inflate the networks or enable his teammates.
