Paolo Guerrero on Percy Liza: “I’m sure he will make it to the national team”

The 2021 season of Peruvian football came to an end a few days ago and it is time to recognize the best of the year. At the ceremony organized by the Professional Soccer Sports Association (ADFP), Percy Liza won the Revelation Player award on Tuesday.

In the absence of the Sporting Cristal footballer, Paolo Guerrero, guest of honor at the gala, presented the award to the coach of the Rimense club, Roberto Mosquera. There were jokes between both characters, but something to underline was the good comments that the ‘Predator’ expressed about Liza.

“I congratulate Percy Liza for this award, I think he has a great future. I am sure that he will play abroad and for the Peruvian national team. He has great conditions, he is very fierce ”, Guerrero said in statements released by GOLPERU.

The importance of Hernán Barcos in Alianza Lima is unquestionable. The ‘Pirata’ scored ten goals, gave eight assists and was one of the figures of the alliance team that lifted the national champion trophy a few days ago, after beating Sporting Cristal on the global scoreboard of the playoffs.

And this Tuesday, the Argentine forward added one more recognition: he won the Best Player award at the ADFP event. Barcos, who these days enjoy a well-deserved vacation with his family, was the leader of the voting and was distinguished in that way.
