Luis Guadalupe, one of the most beloved characters in Peruvian football, worried all his followers. This Thursday, ‘Cuto’ shared a publication through social networks to inform that he was admitted to a local clinic. Of course, the former Sports University ruled out that it is a case of coronavirus.

“To family, friends, and public opinion: I have been hospitalized since yesterday (Wednesday). I make the clarification that it is not about COVID-19 for the peace of mind of all the people with whom I have shared in recent days”The retired defender who knew how to wear the shirt of the Peruvian team began his message.

Then, the ‘Cuto’ Guadalupe added: “Now I am in the hands of the doctors and always with faith in God. I am waiting for the final analyzes and the medical report to follow the recommendations of the doctors”, declared the champion of the national championship with Juan Aurich during the 2011 season.

In this sense, the former player of Independiente de Argentina indicated that, for the reasons indicated above, he will be absent from the commitments scheduled for the following days. “In this situation, unfortunately, I will not be able to comply with a series of events already agreed upon”, Guadalupe closed.

According to information from the Trome newspaper, the ‘Cuto’ already felt discomfort since last Saturday. However, the 45-year-old man traveled to Chiclayo to appear in a celebration for the 10 years of the conquest of the Decentralized 2011 with Juan Aurich. On her return to Lima, Guadalupe attended the hospital for a urinary infection.
