This December 23, Diego ‘Cholo’ Simeone reached 10 years at the helm of Atlético Madrid, a club which he has led to great successes. Throughout his stage with the ‘Colchoneros’, the coach garnered several titles, local and international, and sent an emotional message for the new anniversary through social networks.

“Dear Atlético de Madrid fans, It has been 10 years since my arrival as coach and I did not want to spend the day without ceasing to thank you for your support from the first moment. It is inevitable that countless memories of moments spent together come back to me, enormous joys and sorrows that we have overcome.

To Miguel Ángel and Enrique for giving me the opportunity to return as a coach to which I always felt my home. But above all to the footballers who always knew how to convey everything I feel for this game on the field, thus achieving excitement and making us feel proud of our team.
