In an interview for Infobae, the boss even stated that his transfer to other clubs is not negotiable. “In this world of soccer every player can be sold when the right club comes along. But it won’t be easy, because Miguel is too important to us looking for promotion. We count on you to stay “explained the manager.

He also spoke about the summons of the defender to the Peruvian team: “He is very good in the team and we miss him when he has obligations to the national team.”. This, because they consider him a necessary player in the field: “We want to return this season to the Eredivisie (first division) and for that purpose, Miguel Araujo is indispensable for us.”

Therefore, when asked whether or not it was a good decision to stay this season, he replied that “Yes that’s for sure”. Miguel Araujo had 13 appearances, of the 20 dates that were disputed in the season, and contributed two annotations. In addition, club manager Dick Lukkien has placed him as captain in some games, giving him the confidence to assume leadership on the field. Of course, there are 18 days left to know if they are promoted or not (they go in third place in the table and access the playoffs).

The next challenge for FC Emmen is this Saturday, January 8, where they will have to face Den Bosch, for the date 21 of the Eerste Divisie (Second Division of the Netherlands). The team continues training to get ready for this commitment, including Miguel Araujo, with whom they hope to reach the goal of returning to the Eredivisie.
