Héctor Herrera wants improvements in the economic and sports offer of Valencia

The winter market in LaLiga Santander started just over a week ago and the clubs are looking for options to strengthen their squads. One of the most interested in signing is Valencia and it was recently learned that they want the services of Mexican Héctor Herrera, but they have run into some problems.

Faced with the imminent departure of the Danish Daniel Wass, who has everything arranged to join Atlético Madrid, the ‘Che’ board had an approach with the midfielder of the Mexico team, and who precisely belongs to the ‘Colchonero’ team. However, according to the newspaper Marca, the proposal has not been attractive.

According to the aforementioned media, there is a great economic difference between what Héctor Herrera currently perceives and the offer of Valencia. In addition to that detail, the midfielder is not satisfied with the contract time they presented him: he would only arrive for six months, on loan.

In the same way, the offer indicates that the Mexican could only extend his stay in the entity ‘Che’ by fulfilling some sporting objectives. This possibility is not to the liking of the 31-year-old, since he only has in mind to find a fixed long-term destination.

Let’s remember that Héctor Herrera will end his contract with Atlético Madrid on June 30, 2022, but he can fix his future from now on. Due to the little prominence he has had under Diego Simeone, everything indicates that the midfielder will not extend his link with the ‘Colchoneros’.

How many games does Héctor Herrera have this season?

Héctor Herrera is in his third season at Atlético Madrid, but for now he has not been able to become a regular starter. During the current 2021-22 season, the midfielder made nine appearances (two as a starter) in LaLiga Santander and added another two games in the Champions League, entering from the bench on both occasions.
