At the beginning of this century, the memory of Michael Jordan in the Bulls it was still latent and simultaneously an animated series appeared that would mark the childhood of many. I mean Sponge Bob. In Bikini Bottom, some stories were narrated that have been impregnated in the retina of many users throughout the world. And now the NBA has managed to unite both memories with an exclusive collaboration that will arrive in Peru.

The NBA, as an exclusive, provided El Comercio with the first images of the new collaboration between the NBA and SpongeBob. As reported, this collection will be limited and can only be purchased in Chile, Colombia and Peru from January 21. Likewise, it will also have its launch on January 29 in Mexico.

In the communication sent to this newspaper, the NBA emphasizes that “the collection has a selection of limited edition garments in youth and adult sizes for men and women.” Similarly, they reported that it was already released in Brazil throughout the month of December and that they hope it will have the same reception in the countries mentioned in the previous paragraph.

The collection includes a variety of t-shirts and sweatshirts with designs that combine the personalities and good humor of the characters from SpongeBob SquarePants in Bikini Bottom with the spirit of the NBA and its teams.

The collaboration showcases various NBA franchises including the Boston Celtics, Brooklyn Nets, Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat and Golden State Warriors.

“There is a natural synergy between the NBA and SpongeBob SquarePants and we are delighted to collaborate on this collection to offer fans in Latin America a way to celebrate basketball and the iconic television series”said Sergio Perrella Filho, Associate Vice President of Global Merchandise, NBA Latin America.

The collection launched in Brazil in December and is available at any of the 15 official NBA stores in the country, the NBA Store Truck and online at LojaNBA.com. Starting January 21, fans will be able to find the collection in Chile at Paris, in Colombia at Kicks and Sportline, and in Peru at Ripley. The collection will be on sale in Mexico at Liverpool, Martí, FanTown, the NBA Store in Polanco and the official NBA Mexico online store nbatienda.com on January 29.
