LG XBoom Go XG: features of the new series of speakers that can be submerged in water

LG Electronics launched the new XG series of speakers Bluetooth. After the evolution of technology and rapid digitization, they have opted for portable equipment that promises not to affect sound quality and, at the same time, provide comfort to the user.

“We have been able to lead the major audio market for several years. In 2018, we launched the first Bluetooth speakers and started with a 5% market share in the minor audio category. This figure evolved to 15% in 2020, 25% in 2021 and by the end of 2022, we hope to reach 30% with a much more varied and innovative mix of products” comments in a press release Ricardo Kanai, Sales Manager of the brown line of LG Peru.

The new XG series from LG Peru belongs to the XBoom Go line, and includes the models: XG5, XG7 and XG9, as well as the XBoom 360 or XO3 speaker. The company points out that its new range of speakers offer resistance to dust, sand and water. Plus, with the XBoom app, users can Customize your speaker lights with over 16 million color alternatives, across Party, Nature, and Ambient modes.

LG’s technology enables the XBoom 360 to deliver even, even sound dispersion in all directions. Likewise, the structure is made up of a silk dome, fiberglass and neodymium magnets that help sound precision and noise reduction.

This model has an IP54 certification, which makes the equipment resistant to dust and splashes of water. Also, the built-in battery can play music for up to 24 hours, on a single 5-hour charge.

On the other hand, the XG models have powerful audio outputs of 20W, 40W and 120W respectively, as well as a battery life of 18 and 24 hours. In addition, LG has implemented the button soundboost, that allows to expand the sound field, without losing quality. This line is IP67 certified, allowing them to be submersible in water up to 1 meter deep, for 30 minutes in a row.

“We have identified the needs of our users to offer them solutions. Our XG7 speaker even allows you to charge any cell phone and all models receive calls via Bluetooth, without stopping the music. In the same way, the XO3 model allows the connection of several speakers at the same time with other LG devices, such as televisions, in order to create a surround sound experience” Kanai adds.
