Robotic boots are able to make you walk faster and without getting tired

Researchers at Stanford University (California) have created boots robotics that make walking easier. The invention could increase the speed and reduce the fatigue of the user when walking.

The boots have learning sensors to record the user’s actions. Plus, they help make walking easier by giving every step a boost, after using the equipment for an hour.

This system can increase walking speed by up to 9%, and reduce people’s energy expenditure by 17%.

The researchers of the invention clarified that this exoskeleton —that is, equipment that simulates the extremities of a person— can help not only to enhance the movement of an individual, but also to prevent injuries and be a support in muscular rehabilitation.
