Disney+ is working on a new cheaper subscription plan for the platform, which will initially arrive in the United States in December and that will lack two of the most popular features of the platform, GroupWatch and SharePlay.
GroupWatch is a function that is integrated into Disney + and that allows simultaneous viewing with friends or family either from the website or from the mobile application for iOS or Android.
SharePlay, on the other hand, is a functionality that is only available for Apple devices (with the exception of the Mac), which is used to view content while making a call through the FaceTime service.

Last August, the company announced that it would make available to subscribers a new offer of its service with adswhich would cost $7.99 per month, compared to $10.99 for the standard ad-free service.
As MacRumors editor Steve Moser recently warned in the platform’s code, which he shared via Twitter, this new plan will dispense with GroupWatch and SharePlay, which are two of the most popular services on this streaming platform.

From The Verge they remember that Disney still has room to change this limitation and that it may be an indication within the tests that it is carrying out with this economic plan.
At the moment it is unknown what the company’s plans are regarding the implementation of this cheaper plan with announcements beyond the borders of the United States.
