VisionF 80, the luxury yacht that looks like Batman and is loaded with solar panels

Ecology is part of technological advances. In the world of maritime navigation this is not something foreign, especially when ships like the VisionF 80 BLCK who bets on the solar panels to supply power.

Despite its dark and inconspicuous appearance, it is a luxury vehicle that many have found a resemblance to the Batmobile. It is a catamaran, which is a kind of ship and yacht.

According to the newspaper El Español, this boat is worked by VisionF. Now, the dark, matte color is no accident. It is a way to attract the sun’s rays and increase the efficiency of the solar panels that cover the roof of the deck, capable of capturing enough energy to power all the appliances, lights and auxiliary devices on the ship.

The striking boat is powered by two Volvo Penta IPS 1050 engines, which reach a maximum speed of 18 knots. Now, according to this medium, the current price of the yacht is around 5 million euros.

As it is a yacht, the upper area is the perfect place for parties, with a Void sound system included as an extra in the BLCK edition. This allows that during the day it is an ideal place to sunbathe or sit and enjoy the view.
