This indicates that its speed and energy efficiency is higher than that of the previous model, Snapdragon 778G+ and that it promises an increase in performance between 5% and 10% compared to this other one, as the brand has pointed out in the product specifications section.

These upgrades are complemented by the Quick Charge 4+ system, which powers devices up to 50% in just 15 minutes and extends battery life cycles thanks to Battery Saver technology.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 782G is equipped with an Adreno 642L GPU and has a Qualcomm AI engine with Hexagon 770 processor, so that it allows tasks that require this technology and favors efficient development and low consumption.

The chip can capture photos up to 200 megapixels (MP) for lifelike detail in images as well as sharp contrast. And for the screen, Qualcomm points out that the processor is compatible with panels that have a Full HD+ resolution at 144Hz and also with external ones (available in foldables), which offer 4K at 60Hz with HDR10 and HDR10+.

Likewise, the new Snapdragon 782G is compatible with mmWave and Sub-6 GHz frequencies (as well as the 2.4GHz and 5GHz spectral bands), and offers support for 5G SA / SA connectivity, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and Dual GPS.

At the moment, the American company has not specified when the launch of this chipset will take place nor in what electronic devices it will be integrated.
