Is Santa Claus in danger of being banned from Twitter?

Each year, the NORAD team tracks the location of Santa’s sleigh as it travels around the world.

But this year we may not be able to follow his route as he delivers gifts to all boys and girls – due to a new rule from Elon Musk.

Twitter’s billionaire CEO introduced a new rule banning real-time location sharing, or “doxxing,” as a security risk.

It came after a stalker followed a car carrying his young son in Los Angeles, believing Musk himself was there.

As a result, the popular @ElonJet account that followed the businessman’s personal Gulfstream was also suspended.

But could this spell the end for Santa Claus? Everyone wants to know.

NORAD normally monitors space travel in the event of a nuclear attack, but for the past 60 years the US agency has tipped its Santa hats to share Santa’s whereabouts as a bit of festive fun during the holiday season.

At the time of writing, the organization’s Santa Tracker Twitter account was still active, but he hasn’t posted anything since last December.

While it can’t post updates to Twitter, we can certainly head straight to the NORAD website this year to track Santa’s progress.
