First, Meta points out that the owners of these helmets will be able to continue using thembut that they will not receive new features or software updates, that is, critical bug fixes and security patches, starting in 2024.
The manufacturer indicates in the email that with this change of plans Quest 1 users will also not be able to create or join a game and that it will stop offering access to Meta Horizon Home features as of March 5, 2023. These users will also not be able to invite other users and players to their Home or visit others’ Home.
