Apple develops screens to control all electronic devices in the home

Manzana is developing new home-focused smart displays, that is, tablets similar to Amazon’s Echo Show and Google’s Nest Hub; some devices with which it plans to compete against these companies, as recently published by Bloomberg.

This week, the company presented devices such as the new 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pro with M2 Pro and M2 Max chips, as well as the new Mac mini, with M2 and M2 Pro chips or the new Apple HomePod.

Now the journalist and Bloomberg analyst Mark Gurman has announced that the company is working on a series of devices focused on the smart home and that they would be destined to compete with the interconnected ecosystems of Amazon and Google.

Gurman has pointed out that the American manufacturer is currently focusing its efforts on a TV decoder “faster” and new smart displays for the home, like an iPad with basic features to control tools like thermostats, lights, or handle FaceTime chats. This device would be similar to products like Amazon’s Echo Show or Google’s Nest Hub.

The journalist has commented that this product, which has been revealed by sources close to the company, could be attached to the wall with magnets or on a surfaceas if it were a normal iPad.

These same people sources have also advanced that Apple is planning to build smart screens for the home “bigger”although they have not specified whether they are monitors or televisions.
