Microsoft has been hit by a malfunction, preventing thousands of users from accessing services such as MS Teams, Outlook, Azure and Microsoft 365.

The outage reports started Wednesday morning and most of them came from Indian users.

Downdetector.com, which tracks outages through a range of sources, including user reports, showed that there have been more than 3,700 incidents of people reporting problems with Microsoft Teams in India.

The tech giant released a statement on its official Twitter account that it was investigating the matter.

It later identified the problem as a “potential network problem” and is currently working on steps to resolve it.

According to Microsoft’s latest “Service Health Status,” users may not be able to access multiple Microsoft 365 services.

The next update is expected soon.
