Google Chrome will add the option to disable all extensions at the same time

Google is implementing a button that will allow to disable all extensions installed in Chrome at once, without having to stop your activity one by one as currently allowed by the browser.

Chrome extensions are programs that add functionality to the browser, which are optional and can be downloaded and enabled in the navigation bar. They also inform users if they need certain use or data permissions.

These additional services are grouped in the Extensions section, from which you can establish preferences such as what they can read, and find out details such as the space they occupy, their origin, their description or the downloaded version.

If one of these extensions is installed and must be uninstalled to browse a certain page, users have to do it manually, by clicking on the extension and choosing the ‘Pause on this website’ option.

In case you want to deactivate all the extensions installed in the browser, users can take a shortcut by opening an incognito tab in the browser itself.

This option, which is already available to all members of Chrome Canary 113 —a version of the browser in which tests are carried out that are later improved to the stable version— introduces this button next to the Extensions icon, in the navigation bar .
