The device is called Mijia Smart Clothes Dryer 1S and, compared to previous versions, the product has presented an improvement in design, method of installation and functionality.
The ultra-thin body design allows installation to be recessed and concealed, with a retractable drying rod, which in turn can be hidden inside the roof. The drying rod is 9.9 millimeters thick when stowed away – it’s almost 30% thinner than the previous generation of clotheslines.

The Mijia Smart Clothes Dryer 1S has a series of 6 aluminum alloy drying rods and 49 steel strings. Similarly, it has 4 drying rods which in turn have 38 holes to hang hangers. In addition, it has 4 horizontal cables.
The smart clothesline can work in conjunction with other Xiaomi products, like the washing machine. It also allows control through smart speakers at the hands of the XiaoAI virtual assistant.
For now, it is only for sale in China at 899 yuan. However, it is expected to reach all countries.
