Zuckerberg, Gates, Musk, Sandberg… At what age did the most prominent figures in technology become billionaires?

What do they have in common Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Elon Musk either Jeff Bezos? They are billionaires and seem to be part of an exclusive club, a club of people who made their fortune by innovating in the technology that today dominates our lives, they are part of our daily lives.

And not everyone can say that they are part of this group of billionaires. Furthermore, some of them reached this peak long before they were 30 years old and are considered geniuses.

Year after year, various media such as Forbes create some lists with these characters. For this reason, the El Economista page has compiled how much fortune and at what age they managed to accumulate it, where the presence of a woman stands out, Sheryl Sandberg, who is the COO of Meta and achieved the title of billionaire at the age of 44. She has a fortune of 1.8 billion dollars.

The following are some more well-known people like Mark Zuckerberg. He is the youngest CEO or founder of Facebook of all, and his fortune became immense at just 23 years old: it is valued at $108 billion.

Another most remembered figure is Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft several decades ago. Today he is one of the most important tycoons and at 31 years old he surpassed one billion. Today his fortune is 108 billion dollars.

Jeff Bezos also falls into this group. He is the owner and founder of Amazon and managed to surpass the figure of 1,000 million at the age of 35. Today he accumulates a fortune of 152,000 million dollars. The same thing happens with the controversial Elon Musk, who at the age of 41 reached that figure and today his fortune exceeds 250,000 million dollars.

There are also other important figures, although less in the media, such as Evan Spiegel, who at only 25 years old entered the group of billionaires. According to El Economista, the creator of Snapchat has a fortune estimated at $2.5 billion.

Outside the United States we find Jack Ma, founder of Alibaba, who joined the group at the age of 45 and has a fortune of more than $2.5 billion. Larry Ellison, founder of Oracle, reached one billion at the age of 49 and today is worth $135 billion.

Google is also on the list with its founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin who became billionaires at the age of 30 and 31, respectively. Today they have a fortune estimated at between 112,000 million and 107,000 million dollars.
