Useful holidays 2024: learn about some options to learn about robotics, virtual reality, astronomy or chemistry

The National Council of Science, Technology and Technological Innovation (Concytec) has proposed some alternatives that are directed by science and engineering professionals with extensive experience linking children and young people.

These alternatives are not only present in Lima. There are groups dedicated to spreading science and technology throughout the country.

Doing Science (Lima: Los Olivos, Huancayo and Cusco). Starting in January, the Doing Science STEAM CAMP workshops will be held in Huancayo, Lima and Cusco. In these spaces, children from 3 to 5 years old will learn about the planets, the solar system, astronauts and rockets; They will also learn about nature, the aquatic world, and even create their own robot. Children from 6 to 12 years old will be able to learn about chemical reactions, ecology, environmental engineering, virtual and augmented reality, among other topics. Minitectos (Lima: Los Olivos, Santa Anita, Magdalena, San Isidro, Lince and Bellavista). If what you are looking for is a space where children learn about the construction of structures and the bases of architecture, the Minitectos workshop is a good alternative. Children from 5 to 11 years old will learn about art, design, structures, gardening and entrepreneurship. TezlaMag (Lima: Jesús María). Another option is the fun science workshops offered by TezlaMag for children from 5 to 12 years old, where they will learn about physics and engineering through fun experiments.
