MWC 2024: Xiaomi shows a smart lamp that is controlled with the gestures of one hand

Xiaomi has presented within the framework of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 A smart home lamp that can be controlled with gestures. Its design and movement resembles the famous Pixar flexo.

The Mijia PIPI Lamp, which is what this device is called, has a motion sensor which is located in the LED light area. This element is what detects the gestures made with the hands and allows you to interact with the lamp without having to press a button.

Likewise, the new Xiaomi product has a total of 28 customizable actions, the most notable being the hand movements in the air that allow the light to be directed in different directions.

Among other functions, you can turn off the lamp with the gesture of opening and closing your hand, as well as control the intensity of the light by moving two fingers. Additionally, raising the index and little fingers activates a “dance” mode.

According to El Español, it is a prototype that is not for sale even in China, where Xiaomi products are most sold.
