Ford presented the most extreme version of its F-150 line in Peru

In another of the impressive presentations to which he has us accustomed, Ford carried out its last biggest launch of the year in Peru, designed by the Ford Performance team: the third generation of the F-150 Raptor, designed to overcome all kinds of challenges in the most extreme contexts.

Through a live broadcast from the El Comercio FanPage on Facebook, it was possible to know all the details of the Raptor version of the best-selling pick-up truck in the world. One of the main features of the All New F-150 Raptor from Ford It is its 3.5L V6 Ecoboost bi-turbo engine of 450 HP and 691 NM of torque with Auto Start / Stop system. It has a 10-speed automatic with smart shifting capabilities specifically designed for maximum performance and efficiency. In addition, the F-150 Raptor has four types of traction: 4×2 (2H), in which the pick-up works only with rear wheel drive; Automatic 4×4 (4A), in which the truck operates in 4×4 mode as needed and becomes an AWD vehicle; 4×4 high (4H), which distributes the engine power 50:50 between the front and rear axle; and the low 4×4 (4L), which has a gearbox that multiplies the force on the wheels almost by three.

Other important features is the Terrain Management System with seven preset drive modes to enhance driving dynamics in a variety of environmental conditions: On-Road (Normal, Sport, Slippery, Tow / Haul) and Off-Road (Deep Snow / Sand, Low and Rock Crawl).

Among other novelties:

• Hood with new heat extractor and functional side vents located on the upper edge of the fenders.
• 35 ″ diameter tires, with 17 ″ aluminum rims with Beadlock, so that the tire does not lose friction with the rim.
• 12 ″ multi-touch screen with SYNC 4, compatible with Apple Car Play & Android Auto.
• Smartphone wireless charger.
• Satellite Navigator (GPS) and B&O Premium audio with 18 speakers including subwoofer.
