Argentina: couple arrived in a Mercedes Benz to a store to steal a jar of cucumbers [VIDEO]

For the employees of a store specialized in the sale of wines located in Nordelta (Argentina) what happened on the night of the last day of January arouses them from astonishment to indignation: a couple with no apparent financial follies stole a jar of cucumbers. The unusual thing, according to local workers, is that the couple arrived at the scene in a Mercedes Benz.

Nothing made the workers suspect that this apparently wealthy couple would star in the absurd robbery, only when they did the accounts at the end of the day they realized that something did not add up and they went to the security cameras to verify and confirm the theft, according to the portal TN.

“When we checked at the end of the day, we realized that we had been robbed. With my colleagues we checked the cameras and discovered it”says one of the employees and adds: “This woman does not steal out of necessity. At the door of the premises they left a Mercedes Benz van parked.

The images are compelling. While the man walks next to the employees, the woman notices that no one is looking at her, she picks up the jar of cucumbers and puts it in her bag, in the mode known as “roving”.

The workers of the winery have found out that this woman would live in the Los Castores neighborhood and said that they made the video public to alert other merchants.

This event recalls the case of the successful American actress Winona Ryder, who in 2001 was arrested for stealing clothes and accessories valued at $4,700 at Saks Fifth Avenue. On that occasion, she was sentenced to three years of probation, to pay a fine and to do community work.
