The message is already deleted. The journalist eliminated it after the controversy generated, but the director of his newspaper, Alessandro Sallusti, He has asked the company to discuss with the legal department whether there are grounds to fire him.

The association considered in the complaint that Montesano has shown an absolute lack of respect for the pain of the families of these victims who “were denied the dignity of burial.”

“The shamefully offensive and defamatory intention of Mr. Tommaso Montesano is evident, much more serious due to the fact that it has been carried out in the exercise of the journalistic profession and has been amplified through a social network, in order to deny a of the saddest historical truths of the post-war period and offending the victims and their families”, explained in the lawsuit, according to the sources.

“The sole purpose was to discredit and slander the victims and with them the pain of all the relatives in order to embrace denial theories that are also dangerous in terms of incitement to hatred,” they concluded.
