President of North Macedonia takes girl with Down syndrome to school to stop bullying against her

According to media reports North Macedonia, an 11-year-old girl was being discriminated against because she has Down syndrome. Under these circumstances, Macedonian President Stevo Pendarovski “talked to Embla Ademi’s parents about the challenges that she and her family face on a daily basis and discussed solutions,” her office said in a press release.

“The president said that the behavior of those who violate the rights of children is unacceptable; especially when it comes to children with atypical development”says the statement.
