Áñez denounces “psychological torture” when she completes 12 days of hunger strike

The former interim president of bolivia Jeanine Añez denounced this Sunday that he suffers “psychological torture” by officials of the prison where she is being held as a result of the hunger strike she is holding for her freedom 12 days ago.

“I suffer psychological torture, because I am on a hunger strike”, manifested.

The former president told the judge that after a previous hearing last Friday, which authorized her transfer to a medical center and was later revoked, she suffered several nervous breakdowns due to prison officials and doctors who tried to make an assessment that she resisted.

Precisely on Friday, after the authorization resolution for Añez receives care outside the prison, a group of protesters related to the Government stationed themselves at the entrances of the compound to prevent the former head of state from leaving and complying with the court order.
