Ukraine claims it recaptured a city in Lugansk and killed 50 Russian soldiers

The Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security of Ukraine assured today that the Army of this country recovered the city of Shchastia in the Lugansk region, and annihilated 50 Russian troops.

“Shchastia was recovered after the attack by the Russian aggressor. During the attack attempt the enemy equipment was destroyed and about 50 enemies were killed. Shchastia is in our possession!”the entity announced on its Facebook account.

The Ministry of the Interior of Ukraine also denounced the entry of several columns of Russian tanks in the area of ​​the region of Luganskin the east of the country, controlled by Kiev.

“Russian tank columns entered the Lugansk region near the villages of Krasna Talivka, Milove, Horodysche”, The Ministry reported on its Facebook page.

The Ministry of the Interior accused the Russian Army of putting white cars with OSCE identifiers in front of the columns, a fact that it described as “cunning”.

The advance of these columns is resisted by units of the Border Guard Service, the Armed Forces and the National Guard of Ukraine, the entity added.

Russia today launched a military operation against Ukraine, under the pretext of pacifying the armed conflict that has been taking place in eastern Ukraine since 2014.
