Ukraine sues Russia before the International Court of Justice in The Hague to stop its invasion

Ukraine went to the International Court of Justice in The Hague against Russia, so that its jurisdiction orders Moscow to cease hostilities, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported on Sunday.

The International Court of Justice, based in The Hague, the Dutch capital, has no mandate to bring criminal charges against Russian leaders behind the invasion of Ukrainestarted Thursday morning.
