Ukraine admits it has no chance to strengthen Mariupol defense

Olexij Arestowytsch, an adviser to President Volodymyr Zelensky, said the closest forces are more than 100 kilometers away or already engaged in fighting with the enemy.

“Currently there is no military solution for Mariupol. It’s not just my opinion, it’s also the opinion of the military,” he said.

One of them goes from Mariupol in the direction of Zaporiya. Another four go from the Luhansk region (east of the country) to Bachmut.
