Russia confirms that it used Kinzhal hypersonic missiles again against Ukraine

Russia assured this Sunday, for the second consecutive day, that it used hypersonic missiles in Ukrainethis time to destroy a Ukrainian army fuel stockpile in the south of the country.

Russia announced on Saturday that he had fired missiles the day before “Kinzhal” on Ukraine. If true, this would be the first known use in real combat conditions of this system that was first tested in 2018.

On Sunday, the Russian Defense Ministry said “high-precision missiles” fired by Moscow had hit a Ukrainian special forces training center in the Khitomir region, 150km west of kyiv.

“More than 100 members of the (Ukrainian) special forces and foreign mercenaries were killed” in the attack, the Russian ministry said.
