Production stopped for six hours
On images relayed by the association, we see the leopard, a young male of three years, walking randomly in the corridors of the factory. Members of the NGO, including two veterinarians, put the feline to sleep and captured it using a tranquilizer dart.
The animal was transported to a shelter. Visibly in great shape, he will be released into the wild in a few days. The factory, which is located on the edge of the forest in this town in western India, was able to resume normal operation during the day. The leopard’s visit still interrupted production for six hours.
