Laura Yanet, 19, who disappeared after leaving her job in Mexico, is found dead

On the afternoon of last Friday, April 8, Laura Yanet, only 19 years old, left her job in Coatlán del Río, towards her home in the municipality of Tetecala, in Morelos, Mexico. However, he lost communication on the way to the community of Actopan, between the Sonora neighborhood and the municipal seat of Tetecala.

She worked to help with household expenses because his father was blind and frequently she made the journey alone to her workplace and vice versa. However, she was a victim of insecurity.

That day, his relatives went to the South Regional Prosecutor’s Office to report his loss and before the Public Ministry they detailed that he was wearing a black short-sleeved polo shirt, blue jean pants, white and black Adidas sneakers, glasses and a watch.

They locate his body with traces of violence

The following days they did not know anything about her until at noon this Monday her body was found next to the Alpuyeca-Grutas highway, at the height of the “La Toma” area, in the Actopan neighborhood. She showed signs of violence and on her body there was a piece of brick with a white cardboard.

However, the investigations of the ministerial agents and experts they determined that he had not written any message and, preliminarily, that Laura may have been a victim of sexual abuse in the vacant lot where it was found, although no further details were given.

The staff of the Prosecutor’s Office of the southern zone was in charge of reviewing the case and later the removal of the body was carried out to continue the proceedings from the morgue, in order to know the causes of death and define a line of investigation on the case.

With this crime, there are already 27 murders against women so far in 2022 and nine in just 11 days this April.
