Former Chilean players from Alianza Lima visited the intimate squad shortly after the match with Colo Colo

Shortly after the meeting between Lima Alliance Y colo colo by Libertadores Cupthe blue and white squad received a visit from Chilean players, who took advantage of the team’s concentration in Santiago, to greet those led by Carlos Bustos.

Francisco Huerta and René Pinto, two of the four footballers of colo colo who joined the intimate squad after the Fokker accident, posed for photos. The other two who were present were Fernando Martell Y rodrigo perezchampions with Alianza Lima in the 2006 season, when the team was led by Gerardo Pelusso.

Of the current squad, Wilmer Aguirre is the only player who shared dressing rooms with Rodrigo Pérez and Fernando Martel. The ‘Little Fox’ played the entire first part of 2006 and was later sold to Metz of French football.

The visit takes place prior to the meeting between Alianza Lima and Colo Colo for the group stage of the Copa Libertadores. It will be the first time that both teams meet officially in an international tournament.

The game is scheduled to be played this Wednesday, April 13 at the Monumental Stadium in Chile. It will be valid for date 2 of Group F of the Copa Libertadores 2022.

Alianza Lima comes from losing 1-0 to River Plate at the National Stadium, while Colo Colo got three important points in his 2-0 away win against Fortaleza from Brazil.
