After the massacre, perpetrated by an 18 year old with a semi-automatic riflethe officers were accused of having acted too late to stop the shooting.

For now, Texas police have not publicly commented on the footage, which was revealed by the Austin American-Statesman newspaper and local channel KVUE-TV.

According to these media, the documentation – whose authorship has not been revealed – shows that the attacker broke into the school at 11:33 local time.

Indicates that 11 police officers arrived within three minutes and that an officer in a bulletproof shield was already in the building at 11:52.

These data come to light after Police Chief Peter Arredondo reported that the attacker had “shot a lot” and that agents only had “guns”according to the media.

New reports show that Arredondo also tried to speak to the gunman and asked if he could hear him, the Austin American-Statesman reports.

The minutes before shooting down the murderer

At 12:50, the police finally managed to open a hole in the door of the classroom where the attacker was. He was shot dead by members of the United States Border Patrol Tactical Unit.

During the massacre, the children frantically called the emergency phone to report multiple gunshot victims, while the parents tried to gain access to the building to come to his rescue, but the police blocked their way.

Investigators say the children’s messages were not passed on to the troops deployed to the shooting, who allegedly they waited for more firepower to arrive before confronting the killer.

According to the authorities, officers mistakenly thought the attacker was contained and they held their positions even after more gunshots were heard from inside the class.

In addition, according to the same local media, there were tools available that could have been used to break down the doors.

The alleged police delay in the response to the attack has been the focus of several state and federal investigations.

The parents of the victims and other members of the educational community requested this Monday at a meeting of the school board the Arredondo’s resignation.

In addition, more details of the shooting are expected to be presented this Tuesday at a public hearing in the Texas Senate.
