Iran denies remaining “indifferent” if Russia uses its drones in Ukraine

The Foreign Minister of Iran said Monday that Tehran will not remain “indifferent” if it becomes clear that Russia is using Iranian-made drones in Ukraine.

“In the war in Ukraine (…) we are against arming both Russia and Ukraine,” said the Iranian foreign minister, Hossein Amir Abdollahianin a video published by local media.

“We have not supplied Russia with any weapons or drones for use against Ukraine,” he added, reiterating previous denials, although acknowledging that both countries have cooperative ties.
