Biden, Lavrov and other leaders present in Bali for the G20 summit

The American President, Joe Bidenthe Russian Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrovand other leaders have already reached Bali to participate in the summit of leaders of the G20the first to be held after the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

The Air Force One plane in which Biden was traveling arrived at 9:47 p.m. local time (1:47 p.m. GMT) in Bali, from Phnom Penh (Cambodia), where the president participated in the annual meeting of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). and took the opportunity to meet separately with some of his partners.

In Cambodia, Biden coincided with Lavrov, who arrived in Bali about two hours before the American and will be in charge of leading the Russian delegation at the G20.

They are also expected to attend the summit of the G20, which is celebrated on November 15 and 16, the French president, Emmanuel Macron; the Argentine president, Alberto Fernández; Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi; and the President of the Spanish Government, Pedro Sánchez, who will attend because Spain has permanent guest status in the group, among others.

The G20 represents the most developed and emerging countries in the world. It is made up of Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia, South Korea, South Korea, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the United States. European.

Its members account for about 90% of world GDP, 80% of global trade and two-thirds of the planet’s population, as well as about 60% of all agricultural land and about 80% of world trade in agricultural products.
