Sunak assures that the G20 will highlight Putin’s refusal for cooperation

British Prime Minister, the Conservative Rishi Sunakpointed out this Sunday that the summit of the G20 (developed and emerging countries) of Bali will highlight the contempt of the Russian president, Vladimir Putinfor international cooperation because of the war in Ukraine.

Sunak travels to Bali today to join other world leaders at the summit of the G20which hopes to address the conflict in Ukraine and the economic impact of this armed intervention.

”Putin’s war has caused devastation around the world, destroying lives and throwing the international economy into disarray. This summit of G20 It won’t be like always.” the prime minister said in a brief statement to the media.

“We will lay bare his (Putin’s) utter contempt for the kind of international cooperation and respect for sovereignty that forums like the G20″, added.

Sunakwho took office as prime minister three weeks ago, thus embarks on his second trip abroad as head of government, after attending the climate summit COP27 in Egypt.
