Colombia: three women who sexually exploited 10 minors are captured

The fight against networks of sexual exploitation of minors continues to produce results in Barranquilla, Colombia.

This Monday the Metropolitan Police reported the capture of three women who had a network in which they offered sexual services in the Center of Barranquilla.

According to the Police report, these women belonged to the criminal group called ‘Los Clientes’, one of them is a foreign national.

The capture was made on 42nd street with 39th race, Centro de Barranquilla sector, near the Care Center for Victims of Sexual Attentionhe. They had been monitoring this gang since the middle of the year, due to complaints filed by citizens

“This criminal group was made up of women who had been committing crimes on Calle 41 with Carrera 41 and its surroundings, where you can find brothels, bars and hotels, places where they carried out the drug trafficking in a concerted manner and pimping with minors under 18 years of age”, underlines the Police report.

Underage girls, between the ages of 14 and 17, were subjected and negotiated for sexual activities with drug-consuming clients.

The detainees will now have to answer for the crimes of conspiracy to commit an aggravated crime in a successive homogeneous contest with manufacturing, trafficking and possession of narcotic drugs in a heterogeneous contest with pimping underage.
