Zelensky thanked all the utility workers who worked on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day to restore power in different parts of the country.

He also explained that government officials in the energy sector were taking steps to stabilize the situation in the energy sector.

Ukraine had a population of around 40 million before the Russian invasion began on February 24.
