the ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky, on the eve of the first anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, he claimed Thursday that Ukraine “did not give in” and “will triumph” over troops and “terror.”
“We have not broken. We have passed many tests and we will succeed. We will ask all those who brought this evil and this war to our land to account. All the terror, all the murders, all the torture and all the looting.” he stressed in a message posted on social media.
He added that Russia had chosen “the path of the murderer, the path of the terrorist, the path of the torturer, the path of the looter” in unleashing this war and that this “choice of state” implied “state responsibility for the terror committed.”
