The revolt cannot be imposed on the representatives of the people”, Macron said, according to some attendees, a few meters from a new spontaneous demonstration that ended with clashes with the forces of order, a constant that has been repeated in the country since last the 16th.

That day, the French government decided to approve the reform without a vote, which faced two motions of no confidence that it surpassed yesterday, Monday, by just nine votes, a narrow margin that gave wings to the opposition and the unions.

The French president, who plans to respond tomorrow, Wednesday, to an interview on the country’s two main television stations, assured that the small margin with which the law was approved does not diminish its legitimacy, as does the procedure chosen, which is included in the Constitution.

Macron assured “hear the anger” of the French after the adoption of a reform that delays two years, until 64, the minimum retirement age and asked their parliamentarians to explain the measure and receive citizens.
