At around 10:05 p.m. this Wednesday, May 24, 2023, the Colombian Geological Service recorded a strong earthquake of magnitude 6.6 that was felt in the departments of Antioquia and Santander.

A second earthquake occurred at around 10:14 p.m. on the border with Panama, the magnitude was 4.6 and the epicenter was 34 kilometers from the municipality of Acandí, Chocó.
